BERLIN BOTANICAL GARDENS & SCHNEEWEISS

This was one of my favorite days spent in Berlin.  Aly and I went to the botanical gardens, which was mind blowing-ly beautiful.  We could have spent an entire day exploring; in retrospect I wish we would have packed a picnic and done exactly that.  

After hours and hours of being on our feet, exhausted, sweaty and feeling as if we had failed to find a tasty place for dinner.  We stumbled upon this little gem, Schneeweiss.  It was delicious, I would probably say it was one of my favorite restaurants we visited during our travels.  The food was so flavorful and beautifully presented, the service was great and aesthetically everything seemed perfect.  I wish I could transport myself there for dinner this evening. 

Berlin, you are pretty amazing.

BERLIN

I want to go back to Berlin… I really loved this city and would go back in a heartbeat.  It is massive and there is so much to explore.  It is extremely bike friendly, (which is my favorite way of getting around), has tasty food, the best people watching, lively nights, amazing parks, and the list goes on… I wish I would have taken more photos, but this was a city I did not want to walk around with my camera glued to my face.

DAYS IN PRAHA

We stumbled upon this amazing little bookstore.  It was such a find, a true gem.

This was amazing.  You chose your fruit which they then fill the bottom with.  Then they pour warm dark chocolate over the top to fill the rest of the mug.  nom-nom

THE FIRST DAYS OF PRAGUE

Bianca came along with us to Prague and the three of us continued to have the most wonderful time.  This city is so incredible and different from so many of the others we had seen.  It was amazing to explore!  

VIENNA: DAY OF CAKES

Our last couple of days in Vienna we mostly cake hopped.  We went from Cafe Sacher to experience the famous austrian sacher cake, well, Aly had it and I watched.  The next day we went to Demel, a beautiful cafe and cake shop.  We had a nice brunch with Bianca and her dear friend Isabelle, and we each bought a cake to enjoy in the park afterward.  They even had a gluten free cake for me (!), so as you can imagine, I was thrilled to be able to partake in the cake picnic.

Demel was so lovely, and sitting in the cafe for breakfast felt like such a special treat.  We felt like such ladies and enjoyed the setting and decore fit for queens.

Aly and I were so happy Bianca decided join us in Prague for a few days.  While enduring the long train ride, we were quite impressed with our ranging shades of socks, we were even sitting in order from light to dark.  It does not take much to entertain us.
